Task Force 4: Communication
Mandate
This Task Force works on the development of a communication plan and the monitoring of its execution, with the objective of creating awareness around the BDVA activities, reinforcing the association with new members, ensuring that the existing community is alive and produces useful contents, and guaranteeing the impact of the outcomes of the association. Activities within the communication plan include, among others, organization and active attendance to events, social networks strategy and elaboration of marketing material (brochure, presentation, etc). The communication strategy addresses the following objectives:
- Improve BDVA positioning as the Big Data reference in Europe
- Help BDV PPP to achieve its KPIs
- Attract the key players in Big Data
- Increase number of full members
- Target of the communications activities
- Technology Industries
- Data Providers
- Research organizations
- SMEs
- European Commission and other Public Administrations
