Data / data sharing initiatives focus on supporting current Covid-19 Pandemic:
COViD-19 Data ExchangeIn response to the impacts related to the COVID-19 crisis, and following the fairly unanimous call to accelerate data sharing, as a key contributor to solving this situation, Dawex took the initiative to launch the COVID-19 Data Exchange. This pro bono initiative is already supported by global organizations. The aim of this COVID-19 Data Exchange platform is to facilitate access to data, and make sure that researchers, scientists, doctors and States are able to share any data that can be useful for the community.It will also play a key role in the coordination of effort of all economic stakeholders, at public and private level, worldwide, that are crucial in the struggle against the virus, to overcome the many collateral damages caused by the pandemic. RDA WG Covid-19The objectives of this Working Group are twofold:
The group will address the development of such detailed guidelines on the deposit of different data sources in any common data hub or platform. The guidelines aim at developing a system for data sharing in public health emergencies that supports scientific research and policy making, including an overarching framework, common tools and processes, and principles that can be embedded in research practice |
