KRAKEN project comes to an end with a successful implementation of a personal data sharing platform

The KRAKEN project is coming to an end after three years of work. KRAKEN had the main aim to create a trusted, secure, scalable and efficient data exchange platform by using cutting-edge technologies such as Self-Sovereign Identity and crypto-advanced tools integrated into a marketplace.

The created KRAKEN platform is integrating Multiparty Computation technology for secure analytics, leveraging the SSI paradigm by using VCs for login and onboarding processes, and the implementation followed W3C standards and regulatory guidelines for GDPR compliance. This KRAKEN platform has been demonstrated in relevant health and education use cases.

In their latest newsletter, the KRAKEN summarises its main outcomes and the achievements delivered, explaining the pillars of the project and highlighting the KRAKEN innovations recognized by the European Commission.
