This new release of the position paper focuses on revisiting the opportunities and challenges which were identified in the first release and adding a concrete call for actions aimed at specific stakeholder who have a pivotal role to play in the realisation of a European Data Space. It builds on a survey on data sharing practices which was carried out over summer (preliminary results are available here) as well as on wide stakeholder consultations within BDVA. The document is also aligned with the contents of the Third Release of the Strategic Research Innovation and Deployment Agenda (SRIDA) of the upcoming AI, Data and Robotics Partnership.
