On December 13th 2022 the BDVA General Assembly has officially accepted 10 new members from 8 different countries joining the association. The new Full members are Neumann Technology Platform, SICOS BW and Volkswagen Group and the new Associate members are FundingBox Accelerator, IDENER Research & Development AIE, SingularLogic, St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, University of Belgrade - School of Electrical Engineering, VERSES and WebPredict Kft . BDVA warmly welcomes the organisations!
From September 2022 to August 2025, the brand new Horizon Europe project MobiSpaces will be developing effective data governance solutions to exploit the huge data volumes produced in secure and trustworthy digital infrastructures to enable data sharing, reuse and interoperability using standardised protocols across different organisations and stakeholders.
As a result of the 2022 open call, three silver BDVA i-Space labels were granted. The awarded hubs are Belgrade Data Innovation Hub (Belgrade, Serbia), MedITech Competence Center (Naples, Italy) and Ruđer Bošković Institute Digital Innovation Hub (Zagreb, Croatia).
BDVA organised the 5th EBDVF (European Big Data Value Forum) in Prague, Czech Republic, from the 21st to the 23rd of November 2022. Being held on-site for the first time since 2019, the event gathered 400 attendees creating a fruitful environment to celebrate achievements, form new collaborations and plan directions for data-driven innovation.
