Big Data Value Association is proud of being an institutional partner of IoT Week 2022. BDVA contributed to the IoT Week programme throughout the event days.
Data Week 2022 was wrapped up on the 8 and 9th of June in Naples, Italy. During the three weeks, 9 BDVA i-Spaces organised local events and a total of 34 online sessions were organised by the community discussing the most relevant topics for the community. The content was delivered by over 250 speakers and over 1000 participants joined the event.
BDVA/DAIRO General Assembly has appointed Laure le Bars (SAP) and Dr Valerio Frascolla (Intel) as BDVA vice presidents for industry. Almudena Sánchez (GMV) was re-appointed as a BDVA Treasurer with a 2-year mandate.
On June 9th 2022, rhe BDVA/DAIRO General Assembly (GA26) has accepted 7 new members to join the association. BDVA warmly welcomes the new members and is looking forward to all new opportunities and collaborations working together creates!

MARVEL partners have found ways to improve the performance of deep neural networks with a method called just-in-time classification. This is the result of using multiple neural layers, each performing a high-dimensional transformation of its input.
During 16-20 May, 32 startups traveled to Paris to compete for the opportunity to move on to the next REACH incubation phase. The 10 Datathon winners will be moving to EXPERIMENT phase, which is the most intensive and longest incubation phase of all.
